Crooked Hill Road bridge is tentatively scheduled for replacement in
early January 2012. The road and bridge will be closed and
detours will be in effect. More information to come.

The East Hanover Township Board of Supervisors will hold a
workshop to discuss the Grantville Volunteer Fire Co. new
building plans and to conduct any other business that may come
before the Board, beginning at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 25,
2012 at 8848 Jonestown Rd., Grantville, PA 17028

NOTICE - Supervisor Vacancy
The East Hanover Township, Dauphin County Board of
Supervisors is looking for interested parties to fill the vacant
position of Township Supervisor. The term expires December 31,
2013. Any interested parties should submit a letter of interest
and a resume to the Board of Supervisors, 8848 Jonestown Rd.,
Grantville, PA 17028 no later than Friday, February 3, 2012.
Please note on the envelope “Supervisor Vacancy.” You must be a
registered voter and have resided continuously in East Hanover
Township for at least one year.
Candidates will be interviewed at the Board of Supervisors
Meeting on February 7, 2012. The meeting begins at 7:00PM at
8848 Jonestown Rd., Grantville, PA 17028. If you have any
questions, please contact the Township Manager Monday through
Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 717-469-0833.

Needed - Township Municipal Authority
The Board of
Supervisors is searching for volunteer candidates for newly
created East Hanover Township Municipal Authority. If your
are interested in serving as a member of the Municipal
Authority, please submit your resume and letter of interest to
the attention of East Hanover Township Manager at 8848 Jonestown
Road, Grantville, PA. The current Water and Sewer
Committee meets the first Thursday of the month.
Interview and
appointment decisions will be made by the Board of Supervisors.

Township Planning Commission
If
you are interested in serving as a member of the Planning
Commission, please submit your resume and letter of interest to

Planning Commission meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of
every month and a Workshop is held when there is a fifth Tuesday
in that month.

The following is the disposal
rate for the Harrisburg Incinerator: The final rate
increase for the incinerator is $1.58 per ton. As a result
of this, there will be an increase in the residents'
