Penn Waste Rate Increase Announcement
Due to the Harrisburg
Incinerator's final rate increase to $1.58 per ton, there
will be an increase in the residents' quarterly bill by
$0.55 per quarter.
General Questions
When did the program begin? The program began on July
2,
2008. It will end on July 1, 2013.
What company was awarded the contract?
Penn Waste, PO Box 3066, York, PA 17402. Phone

How long will the program last? Five years (July 2, 2013).
 What holidays will be observed? New Years Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas
Day. COLLECTION WILL BE ONE DAY LATE WHEN YOUR COLLECTION DAY
FALLS ON OR FOLLOWS THESE HOLIDAYS.
What is the schedule?
Tuesday: Residences South of Meadow Lane.
Thursday: Residences on North and South Meadow Lane,
Jonestown Road between South
Meadow Lane and Jonestown Road.
Friday: Residences North of Jonestown Road.
Please
have your items placed at the curb prior to 6am on
your collection day.
