All subdivision and land
development plans must be submitted to the East Hanover Township
Planning Commission for review and recommendation prior to
review and action by the Board of Supervisors. The primary
purpose of the review is to ascertain that all requirements of
the zoning and subdivision/land development ordinances have been
met.
The Planning Commission considers
the reviews and recommendations of the *Municipal Engineer, the Dauphin
County Planning Commission, the Dauphin County Soil Conservation
District and the East Hanover Township Environmental Advisory
Council. The Commission will also determine that the
subdivision or land development plan is in conformance with the
goals and objectives stated in the Comprehensive Plan. After
review, the Commission will recommend an action to the Board of
Supervisors. All plans require approval from the Supervisors
prior to being recorded at the Dauphin County Courthouse.
Five residents are appointed to the Planning Commission by the
Supervisors for four year terms.
Jaromir Kovarik, Esquire serves as
Special Council to the Planning Commission.
Please check the
