Outdoor Yard Sale

8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The 11th Annual East Hanover Township Outdoor
Yard Sale will be held in the parking lot of the Township
Building. Vendors spaces are available at $12.00.

Peach Festival
August 9, 2008
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The Annual Peach Festival will be held inside the Township
Building. Come in from the summer heat and enjoy peach
desserts free of charge! Donations of peach desserts are
always welcome.

Bring the family out to enjoy this annual afternoon of fun.
This is full of planned surprises. There will be activities

Halloween Parade
Thursday, October 23, 2008
7:00 p.m.
Calling all witches, ghosts, goblins…it’s time to start
preparing for the Granville Halloween parade. Everyone is
invited to participate. Pre-registration is not required.
Registration will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Grantville
Carnival Grounds next to the Post Office. All participants
must be at the grounds by 6:30 .m. This parade is
co-sponsored by the Park and Recreation Department and the
Grantville Volunteer Fire Company.

Pumpkin Carving
Saturday, October 25, 2008
7:00 p.m.
Come out and join us as we carve away those pumpkins to
create the most awesome jack-o-lanterns! Pre-registration
is required for this event and must be done prior to Friday,
October 17, 2008. Registration is $5 for those carving
pumpkins and $1.00 for those attending but not carving
pumpkins. The registration fee includes food and hayride;
for those carving it also includes a pumpkin, candle and
carving tools.

Trick or Treat
Thursday, October 30, 2008
6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Trick-or-treating for East Hanover Township this year will
be held on Thursday, October 30th.

Township Tree Lighting
Friday, December 5, 2008
6:30 p.m.
The Park and Recreation Board and the Grantville Volunteer
Fire Company are co-sponsoring the annual Christmas Tree
Lighting Ceremony at the Township Building. The program
will include a Christmas carol-sing-a-long, lighting of the
tree and the arrival of Santa by fire truck! After Santa
arrives, the festivities move inside the building where the
children can visit with Santa. Everyone is welcome to enjoy
cooks and hot cocoa.

Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 13, 2008
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The Park and Recreation Board will be sponsoring Breakfast
with Santa at the Township Building. The fee is $2.00 for
children under 12, $3.00 for ages 12 through adult.
