 In 1980,
the Board of Supervisors established the Park & Recreation Board
and appointed seven residents to serve five year terms. The Board
develops, plans and administers a variety of recreational
activities such as classes and special events.
Additionally, the Board of
Supervisors established the position of Park and Recreation
Director. Duties of the Director include the planning and
administration of all the activities and classes sponsored by
the Park and Recreation Board and the rental of the Park and its facilities.
 Each year the
EHT Park and Recreation Board.
provides Township
residents with four newsletters and a Directory. These
publications help keep the residents informed of most of the
activities in the Township.
The Park and
Recreation Board meets on the first Monday of most months
(except when changed due to holidays, etc.) at 7:00 PM in the Township
building. All meetings are
open to the public.
